Seattle, WA December 15, 2008 – A new network of wedding professionals will debut in January 2009 at a boutique retail shop just North of Greenlake. The Seattle Wedding Industry Professionals (SWIP) network will house a potpourri of quality wedding services, all available to engaged couples at one location.
 
For Wedding Professionals
The nature of a wedding professional’s work is “on location” at the multitude of beautiful wedding venues the Puget Sound has to offer. This can mean that occupying an office or retail space is often unnecessary and costly. Wedding pros, such as coordinators and DJs, often meet prospective wedding couples at their local Starbucks. While this is convenient, sometimes the lighting, atmosphere, and noise interfere with a comfortable and successful interview. SWIP offers a boutique meeting area with many of the benefits found at a virtual office. The number of wedding professionals is limited to nine members and includes only those directly providing wedding services. 
 
For Engaged Couples
Searching for the right wedding vendors in Seattle can be daunting. Engaged couples may meet with two, three, or more wedding professionals for every service they hire. SWIP is a one-stop-shop opportunity for couples to connect with several vendors at the same location on the same day. Brides can feel a little less stressful in their search for the perfect vendor to create the wedding they envision.
